We want to show the world that ugly produce is just as delicious and nutritious as regular produce. So, we've teamed up with businesses and non-profits throughout Boston and Cambridge to host one big Friendsgiving dinner on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 6-8 pm at WeWork (625 Mass. Ave, Cambridge, MA) to highlight the very same produce that we deliver to our customers every week. We'll be supplying Clover Food Lab with seasonal, local and, most importantly, BRÜZD produce to make a heart-warming fall menu. Our friends at Food For All prevent prepared foods from restaurants from going to waste, and they're generously providing earth-saving sweet treats. The incredible Toast Ale, which makes beer out of leftover bread, will be speaking about sustainable business, the problem of food waste, and what we can all do to help end it. In addition, all of the leftover food will be donated to Food For Free, a Cambridge-based non-profit that takes prepared foods that would otherwise go to waste, and provides it to those in need throughout the city!
Tickets can be found here, but they're limited, so don't wait! We'll see you there!
